Email marketing is a powerful tool to keep your customers updated and engaged.  After doing Step 4 above (Online advertising), make sure that you have a way to collect emails.  As much as you can, collect emails in all of your marketing campaigns, whether online or offline.

So how do you use it? You can either sell something to them directly, or simply add value by sharing useful and valuable information to them and nurturing the relationship by building your expertise and authority.   
A simple example for selling directly to them is sending them your offer, like you could email your customers a monthly newsletter that includes a discount code for your product or service.  
An example of nurturing or building rapport, is by sending a sequence of emails that provide value. For example, in real estate, you can send valuable information of current listings, your opinion on current market trends or legislation.  Remember you are the expert, and you are giving good advise.
